The Wagner Archive is dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of Wagner College by collecting, preserving, and making accessible materials documenting the development of the College from its 19th-century beginnings as a Lutheran proseminary in Rochester, N.Y., through its move to Staten Island in 1918, and its growth and development into the renowned institution it is today.
The Edwin Markham collection contains the correspondence, manuscripts, and personalia of American poet Charles Edwin Anson Markham. Markham had a wide and varied correspondence, regarded for his poems ‘The Man with the Hoe,” and “Lincoln, the Man of the People”.
The Horrmann Library has many digital archival collections, from the Wagnerian student newspaper collection, to the Edwin Markham correspondence collection, to the Wagner College history archival collections. All collections are accessible from the Digital Archives page.
STATEN ISLAND LEADERSHIP PROJECT
The SI Leadership Project is part of the Staten Island Oral History Network, a collaboration of museums, colleges and organizations, founded June 2005.
