Program Requirements

For all students, a minimum of 45 credits is required.
18 credits in the Core, 15 credits in the International Business concentration, 9 credits in the Final Tier and an additional 3 credit elective.

Tier 1: Initial Tier
Core Curriculum (18 Credits= all 6 courses)

BU 613  Statistics for Managers (3 credits)
BU 617  Economics for Managers (3 credits)
BU 619  Finance and Managerial Accounting (3 credits)
BU 624 Managerial Communications (3 credits)
MK 660 Business and Economics Forecasting for Managers (3 credits)

Tier 2: Major Tier
International Business Major (15 Credits= 5 courses)

IB 605 Seminar in International Business (3 credits)* – REQUIRED (1)
IB 602 International Management (3 credits)
IB 603 International Marketing (3 credits)
IB 604 International Banking (3 credits)
IB 607 International Corporate Finance (3 credits)
IB 608 Contemporary Issues in International Business Course (3 credits)
IB 531 Global Perspectives (3 credits)
BU 621 Business Ethics (3 credits)

Tier 3: Capstone Tier (2)
Core Curriculm (9 Credits= all 3 courses)

International Requirement* – REQUIRED (3)
         (At least one International course must be taken by each student sometime during his/her studies)

(1)  IB 605 Seminar in International Business is a prerequisite for all international business courses.
(2) Capstone Tier courses may only be taken after completion of all core curriculum courses.
(3) The International Requirement of 3 credits is included in the total 45 credits.
