At the Nicolais School of Business, our accounting minor is designed to give students an overview on how to fully maintain and audit detailed financial accounts. They study the theory behind accounting and learn how to analyze the financial position of a firm or organization. Managers are individuals that oversee and lead an organization or a department’s operations. They work to ensure the company remains productive, efficient, and organized at all times by implementing operational strategies and conducting performance reviews. Through the management minor, at the Nicolais School of Business, you will build a broad foundation in business and leadership, so you can successfully manage your own set of employees one day. Through case studies and experiential exercises, you will learn how motivation, group dynamics, and other organizational behaviors affect employees and their productivity.  Required curriculum:

Marketing is at the center of any successful enterprise, whether it’s a financial institution, a professional sports team, or a retail store. It spans disciplines like research and analytics, advertising, product management, and sales. The Nicolais School’s marketing minor teaches students to think strategically and to make smart business decisions that benefit not only companies and individuals, but also society at large.
