Sara Klein Biography

sarakleinDr. Sara Klein is the Dean of Campus Life and Engagement at Wagner College.  In her role as Dean, she oversees the Office of Residential Education, the Office of Co-Curricular Programs, and the Center for Academic and Career Engagement, which includes Career Services, Academic Advising, Services for Students with Disabilities, Academic Support Services, and the Writing Center.  She serves as the College’s Deputy Title IX Coordinator, advocating for students who are survivors of sexual misconduct.  Additionally, she provides leadership for such events as Fall Festival and the Student Awards Dinners, as well as coordinates Assessment, the Campus Life web and social media efforts, and publications for the Division.  Dr. Klein is also the proud advisor to Wagner’s all-female a cappella group, Vocal Synergy and to Completely Student Productions.

Dr. Klein earned her Ph.D. at New York University in Higher Education, where she received a Master’s degree in the same subject.  She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Music.  She is also an adjunct Assistant Professor at New York University in the Higher Education program.  On a personal note, Dr. Klein commutes from Brooklyn, where she lives with her husband, a clinical psychologist,  her daughter, Maddy, who is 4 years old, and her son, Harrison, who is 1 year old.
