(updated as of 8/19/08)     The Student Government Association is the official representative of the College for individual or group concerns. SGA is the governance structure that oversees all organizations on the campus to include academic clubs, specialized groups, honor societies, student publications as well as all fraternities and sororities. SGA offers a variety of leadership programs to assist development and nurturing of student’s skills. The Student Government Office is located in the student organizational suite in Wagner Union, 2nd Floor.     Welcome to the Student Government Association Website and thanks for visiting! SGA’s main purpose is to help you, the student, in any way possible.  As students, we all eat in the same dining hall, register for classes, and venture out into Staten Island and beyond.  We are here to listen to your praises and complaints about the college.  We constantly work to support the creation of more clubs and fund them to the best of our ability.  It is our goal to help add to the vibrant, diverse community of students that are proud to say they are a member of the Wagner College Community.  Together, we can work on initiatives to improve our campus.  Resolutions from the SGA Senate alone will not have the desired affect if the students do not support them as well.  We ask you, as a member of the Wagner College Student Body, to unite with us, challenge the administration of Wagner College on student issues, and enhance the future of Wagner.    Included in this website are the current officers of SGA, the key documents that serve as the foundation of SGA, as well as some of the necessary forms.  It is our hope that over time, this website can expand and include much more information.  Please stop by the SGA Office (2nd floor of the Union) during posted hours, or e-mail us at sga@wagner.edu.  We can also be reached by telephone at ext. 3276.
