This program will focus on hand built ceramics with both terracotta and white low fire clays, (kick wheels will be available for experienced potters). Students will concentrate on creating both decorative and functional projects using pinching, coiling, and slab-making methods. Janice will help students to progress from simple projects to more challenging forms. Decorative surfacing, underglazing and glazing techniques will be highlighted to ignite individual creative expression. All experience levels welcome. Janice is an exhibiting artist and frequent grant recipient who has been teaching for Wagner External Programs since 2008.
