Will Wagner go to SXSW?

South by Southwest — SXSW, for those in the know — is synonymous with “leading edge” in all things cultural. Since 1987, the annual conglomerate of music, film and interactive media festivals has been held in Austin, Texas, growing in prominence each year.

Wagner College needs your support to be part of next spring’s SXSW Education conference.

Right now, SXSWedu is in the process of picking the panels for its March 2017 program.

One of the proposed panels, “Can Higher Ed Lift the K-12 System to New Heights?”, will feature four panelists, including Wagner College President Richard Guarasci and Port Richmond High School Principal Tim Gannon. They will talk about how American colleges (like Wagner) can partner with American public schools (like Port Richmond) to lift American kids out of poverty and equip them with the education they must have in order to succeed.

But they need your vote in order to get on to the SXSWedu program.

To learn more about the panel, and to cast your vote, visit the SXSW PanelPicker website.

YOU MUST CAST YOUR VOTE BY FRIDAY, SEPT. 2!
