A minimum of five interdisciplinary courses from the list below with the following distribution:
At least one course must be chosen from the following: EN 230 (W) [Introduction to Film]. SO 257 [The Scoiology of Television].
At least one course must come from each of the two groups, Humanities and Social Sciences, listed below. A maximum of three course may be chosen drom one or the other of these two groups.
Student can appeal to the director of film and media studies to count courses not listed below on a semester by semester basis. The director will submit the appeal to an interdisciplinary committee of faculty members.
