Actor and poet David Mills will read from his own poetry and perform a one-man show of Langston Hughes at Wagner College on Wednesday, October 30. Two events for the price of none, thanks to generous support from the college.
David Mills has worked professionally in the dramatic and literary communities for almost two decades. He has published two volumes of poetry: The Dream Detective in 2009 and The Sudden Country in 2013. He will read and discuss his poetry in the Faculty Dining Room at 12:00 noon.
In addition to being an accomplished poet, Mr. Mills is also an actor who has performed a one-person show of Hughes’ work at venues such as The August Wilson Center in Pittsburgh, New Mexico’s Lensic Theater, Yale University, and the University of Pennsylvania. His performance of Langston Hughes will take place at 2:40 p.m. in Spiro 2.
All are welcome to attend.
