Biography

Claire Regan is a full-time journalist with more than 30 years of  newsroom experience. As Associate Managing Editor of the Staten Island Advance, she coaches editors and reporters on content and design and  supervises the college internship program. Her editing and design work  has been honored by the Society of Professional Journalists, the  Associated Press, the Society for News Design and the New York Press  Club. Prof. Regan is a board member and past president of the New York  State Associated Press Association and a board member of the New York  City Deadline Club.
