Academic, Teaching, and Personal Interests
I'm interested in literature and various literary genres including short stories, poems, essays, journal entries, plays, and classic and contemporary novels. In addition to teaching course sections in EN 110 in Wagner College, I also teach various courses in St. Paul's School of Nursing including English Composition, English Literature, Psychology, Communication, Career Development, and Business Communication. Prior to my position as an adjunct faculty English professor in Wagner College, I gained extensive experience teaching English as a Second Language to non-native English speakers. I taught beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level ESL classes to students from over 50 culturally diverse countries. In my free time, I enjoy nature, reading, going to Broadway plays, watching foreign and independent films, and writing songs and poetry.
