The Wagnerian is the official student newspaper of Wagner College. It is a bi-weekly newspaper that publishes about six issues per semester. Aside from the standard six issues, we also publish a "Campus Guide" at the beginning of the fall semester and a "Commencement Issue" at the close of the academic year in May.
The Wagnerian focuses primarily on Wagner students, addressing their issues and concerns. It is the Wagnerian's mission to serve, inform, listen, and entertain, and to encourage a free exchange of ideas.
Stories in the Wagnerian help Wagner students make useful decisions that will enchance the quality of their lives. Our newsgathering process and presentation is balanced, thorough, sensitive and accurate. We offer our readers information they can find nowhere else.
The Wagnerian's standards are as high as those of any other credible student newspaper. Using the resources provided by the College, we strive to maintain those standards with each edition.
There are seven different sections in the Wagnerian, including: campus news, college humor, opinions, life and style, nation and world, arts and entertainment, and sports. We also integrate elements of creative page design on our back paghe, known as "The Slice of Life."
We have a staff of over 30 people, and each staff member contributes to every issue of the Wagnerian.
The Wagnerian office is located in Union 202, and meetings are every Monday night at 8:30 p.m.
