After months of anticipation, preparation, and excitement, the Wagner College Class of 2016 has arrived! I hope each and every first-year student had memories that will last for a lifetime. This year’s theme was YouBelong @ Wagner! Throughout the summer, my fellow Orientation Coordinator Allison Dufford and I have been engaging new students to connect with Wagner College through Social Media. Whether it was tweeting to us @Wagner2016, writing on the official Wagner College Class of 2016 Facebook Page or tuning in to our monthly LiveStream Events, the incoming class became more knowledgeable about Wagner College and hopefully connected with their fellow classmates!
Orientation 2012 was a success! Allison and I could not have done it without the support of the Campus Life Division, every campus department, the Peer Leaders and the Orientation Intern, Anna Lombardo. From Move-In Day to the New York City Scavenger Hunt, each and every event was enjoyable. We have received so many positive remarks about this year’s Orientation. Whether it was from Senior Staff, Administration or students, Allison and I are so glad all of our hard work paid off.
Personally, I have met so many new students who are both excited for the year and their time here at Wagner. After hearing why so many of the first-year students belong at Wagner, I cannot wait to see their contributions to the campus community.
For the final time, I will be signing off! Blogging this summer allowed me to connect with administration, students and alumni. I wish the Wagner College Class of 2016 all the best through their next four years! I know I will be seeing and working with many of you throughout my final two years at Wagner. For now, stay safe, appreciate life and most importantly, make the most of your time here at Wagner!
