Welcome to HawkTalk

HawkTalk is a space for students to write, Tweet, video, and photograph their experiences at Wagner College. We want to open a window to campus, so you can listen to student voices, see what happens on campus on a daily level, and meet the wonderful people who make this campus a dynamic and engaging community. HawkTalk is (very) lightly curated by the Office of Communications and Marketing at Wagner. Please leave your comments so we can hear your voices too!

My name is Erik, and I'm a senior Arts Administration and Art History dual major at Wagner. President of the newly revived "Kappa Pi" Arts Honors Society, I'm also a member of Wagner's Honors Program, Art Club, and Marketing Club. In my free time, I love to draw, paint, sing and play piano. This summer, I'll be traveling to Florence through the CCIS Study Abroad program, taking courses in art history and business. I'm excited to see the Renaissance works that I've studied!

Summer in Peru

Wagner’s Summer in Peru program is designed to give students unique opportunities to learn by doing and apply their academic knowledge though community service work in the Moche valley of north coastal Peru. Dr. Celeste Gagnon, assistant professor of anthropology, is supervising Sophia Fox-Sowell '13, Nicholas Gibaldi '14, Robert Brandon '14, and Jennifer Ida '12 as they study human skeletal remains, work in sustainable development and cultural heritage, and help organize community health fairs.
