Goodfellas Pizza, Staten Island

1817 Victory Blvd
4 stars / $$

Fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil. Need I say more? Probably the best pizza place you'll find on the island. The best part? They deliver!

My favorite: Pizza alla Vodka: fresh mozzarella, tomato cream vodka sauce, seasoned fresh mushrooms, peas, and Prosciutto di Parma.

Sunny Chinese Cuisine, NYC

1425 3rd Ave
4 stars / $

A great place to celebrate a friend's birthday. Large portions for a decent price and it comes with a complimentary drink.

My favorite: Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice — it may sound weird at first, but it's the perfect blend of sweet and salty.

mercaditonycMercadito, NYC

179 Ave B
5 stars / $$

There's always Chipotle and Moe's around every corner if you want a cheaper option. But if you really want to satisfy your taste buds with authentic Mexican food, Mercadito is the place to go. They can be pricey but on Tuesdays, tacos go for $5 for two!

My favorite: the carne tacos, rosemary-marinated skirt steak, potato-poblano rajas, avocado-tomatillo, crema, crispy manchego.

lFish, NYC

280 Bleecker St
5 stars / $$$

If you like seafood, this place is heaven: lobsters, oysters, scallops, clams, crabs, mussels, fish on fish on fish....

My favorite: Oysters from the Raw Bar.

cupcake-tower-blue-orange-greenSprinkles, NYC

780 Lexington Ave.
5 stars / $

So there's Crumbs and Magnolia, but... do they have a cupcake ATM? If you're a sweets addict, you now have 24 hour access to cupcakes 7 days a week.

My favorite: s'more/graham cracker-lined dark chocolate cake with ganache topped with toasted marshmallow frosting.
