Wagner Expectations
When people choose a college, they generally look for a school with a major they need to get the job they want. For me, I knew I wanted to work in the entertainment industry, either as a producer, tour manager, casting agent, or whatever other cool jobs I could get. People from Wagner have gone on to get highly acclaimed positions in the entertainment industry with their Wagner degrees, which is what I expect to do as well after graduation.
Additionally, people who graduate from Wagner across many different fields are obtaining jobs that are prestigious and selective as well, which is part of what makes a Wagner education so great. It also creates an expectation for all the Wagner students and potential students that their career will be based on the jobs and internships they get here. Part of this stems from the vast network of Wagner graduates working in their respective fields setting up an ideal standard of what employers should expect of Wagner students. Because of this expectation, I believe that after I graduate I should be able to land a decent job. For a little bit of background on Wagner graduate success, I've compiled a list of places where Wagner students have interned/worked/furthered their education.
