Professional Development Program for Administrative Professionals

The Professional Development Program for Administrative Professionals focuses on advanced office management techniques designed exclusively for the Wagner College community. This challenging certificate program offers two courses to prepare participants to work more efficiently and effectively in assisting their executives in management of daily operations.

Professional Development for Administrative Professionals Level I
In this course you will learn some of the various requirements you may encounter while managing or supporting a department in a higher education setting.

Course Schedule
February 12 to April 30 (No class 3/26)
Tuesdays, 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Professional Development for Administrative Professionals Level II
Building upon the techniques and skill set learned in level one, students will complete a capstone project as it relates to his or her department. By participating in group classes and one-on-one sessions students will create individual projects, learn and utilize the latest Wagner College software and technology as applicable, and will perfect their public speaking and presentation skills.

Tuesdays, 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Who Should Attend These Classes
Administrative Assistants, Executive Assistants, Office Administrators, Secretaries, Office Managers and other administrative office professionals.

Tuition
This course has been approved through Wagner College Human Resources to be funded by individual departments with supervisor approval. Approximately $300 per student dependent on enrollment.

Kimberly Walker holds a Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership, has 20+ years experience teaching, and 15+ years experience as an administrative professional.
