American Sign Language I
American Sign Language (ASL) is the third most widely used language in the United States. It is a visual-gestural-kinesthetic method of communication used by members of the deaf community. In this beginner class students will learn basic vocabulary and grammar of ASL and will begin to develop the necessary communication skills to interact with family, friends or classmates who are deaf or non-verbal.
