This semester, the Department of Lifelong Learning welcomed 11 students from local high schools and Wagner College to our intern program. In this series, we'll introduce you to the talented students who are helping us make a difference in the lives of our Staten Island community.
We got to sit down with Jillian, a junior at Notre Dame Academy, and asked her a few questions about her life!
Favorite School Subject: History
What do you want to be when you grow up: Either a zoologist or a equine-therapist
What college would you love to go to: Johnson and Whales or SCAD
How do you feel this internship is helping you get into college: By showing colleges that I can have an internship and balance school.
Why did you choose Wagner College for your internship: I choose Wagner because it was close to home and also had many amazing programs.
What is your favorite part about the internship: I love that I can meet new people and work with them.
Crazy fun fact about yourself: I am on my school bowling team.
