What is Orientation?

Welcome to Wagner College.  We are excited that you will be become a part of our community and are looking forward to meeting you this week, during new student orientation. It is important that you are engaged throughout orientation, as we want to create an experience in which you are familiarized with each other, the college, and the city. All of the events of new student orientation have been designed to set you up for success and your attendance is strongly encouraged throughout the weekend. Gabby Oloapu will serve as your Orientation Coordinator and can assist or answer questions throughout the weekend or prior to your arrival.

If you are a resident student, you may move into your residence hall room between 10am-5pm on Friday, January 13.
If you are a commuter, you can check in the Dean of Campus Life’s Office, which is located on the second floor of the student union between 1pm-4pm.

If you have yet to register for classes, you can do so on Friday between 1pm-4pm in the Center for Academic and Career Engagement, located on the third floor of the student union we ask that you schedule an appointment by calling 718-390-3416.

To obtain your student identification card, please visit Public Safety’s website and submit an application or contact them via telephone at 718-390-3165 for more information.

Every Wagner student is required to attend an Intercultural Awareness Workshop, your workshop is scheduled for Monday, January 16 from 1pm-4pm.  It is important that you attend this session.  Should you not attend, you will be assigned another date later in the semester.  If you do not complete this workshop, you will not be allowed to register for fall 2017 classes.
