
Some 500 students participated in New Student Orientation beginning August 21. They moved into their residences, met with faculty, learned about the campus, its' traditions and various involvement opportunities, and had many opportunities to socialize from Bingo on the Oval to Casino Night.
An estimated 250 students participated in the Intercultural Awareness Workshops on Saturday morning. These workshops are designed to give students an opportunity to learn more about social justice and interculturalism and a common language to share while they are at Wagner.
And, about 400 students, staff, and faculty participated in the tours to Manhattan on Sunday. They traveled to the Staten Island Ferry by bus, took the Ferry across to Manhattan, then traveled by subway to their destinations where Big Onion Tour Guides met them.
