Author Priscilla Gilman

November 11, 2013 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

On Monday, Nov. 11 at 4:30 p.m. in Foundation Hall’s Manzulli Boardroom, please join us for a visit with Priscilla Gilman, author of “The Anti-Romantic Child: A Memoir of Unexpected Joy.” Gilman’s book recounts her struggle to raise a son, Benj, who is on the autism spectrum. For many years, she tries to understand why he is so distant from her, even as she also marvels at his precocity in learning to read and compute well before the age of 3. For more about Priscilla Gilman, visit her website, or read the response of Wagner’s Steve Preskill to “The Anti-Romantic Child” on his blog.
