Bach Family Dialogues
Faculty and students from Wagner's Music Department join alumni of Juilliard's Historical Performance program in vocal and instrumental music by Johann Sebastian Bach and his sons Carl Philipp Emanuel and Johann Christian. In a first for Wagner, distinguished voice instructors Alan Dornak and Anthony Turner sing a J. S. Bach cantata and selections by J. C. Bach alongside our own Music majors. David Schulenberg directs from the harpsichord, joined by violinist Jude Ziliak in a famous sonata by C. P. E. Bach in which the players represent two fictional characters.
