“German Concentration Camp Factual Survey” Documentary Screening in Manhattan

January 8, 2017 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The Wagner College Holocaust Education and Programming Center in collaboration with First Run Features, invites you to a private screening of:

German Concentration Camp Factual Survey

About the Film: This 1945 documentary edited by Alfred Hitchcock brought to light harrowing, raw footage of Nazi concentration camps. Suppressed by the British government, it was only released 70 years after its production.

Share the experiences of Allied soldiers who liberated the concentration camps. These shocking, uncensored and disturbing images were intended to refute potential denials of the brutality of the Nazis. At times hard to watch, they remain a call to action, remembrance and eternal vigilance.

Followed by discussion with producer Sidney Bernstein's children, award-winning filmmaker Jane Wells and lawyer David Bernstein
