The fifteenth annual Italian Idol Singing Competition at Wagner College in memory of Licia Albanese will bring together the finest singers at Wagner College to compete for substantial cash prizes and a spot on the Viva Italia! Concert on Sunday October 21st. Contestants will perform art songs and arias by Italian composers and others, like Händel and Mozart who participated in and contributed to Italian culture. A distinguished panel of judges will adjudicate. Prof. Yelena Polyachenko will be at the piano.
Italian Heritage concerts at Wagner College are a co-production of Music Department and the Da Vinci Society.
