Jazz Ensemble concert
Please join us on Sunday, April 28 at 3 p.m. in the Main Hall Theater for “It’s All About the Groove,” a performance by the Wagner College Jazz Ensemble, directed by Benjamin Sher. A program of modern jazz compositions will be played in an assortment of styles: a Duke Ellington tune in clave, a samba arrangement of a Toots Thielemans song, a Lee Morgan bugaloo, a Wayne Shorter shuffle and some traditional Big Band classics. The program will feature a special guest: trumpet virtuoso Andy Gravish.
