Join us for a poetry reading and discussion with nationally renowned poet Maria Mazziotti Gillan, winner of the 2008 American Book Award and several other honors.
Ms. Mazziotti Gillan is the Director of the Poetry Center at Passaic County Community College, of the Creative Writing Program at Binghamton University, and Editor of The Paterson Literary Review. Mazziotti-Gillan is considered one of the most influential living Italian-American poets, widely recognized both in the United States and internationally.
She has been featured in the New York Times and you can also listen to three of her poems read by Garrison Keillor on his daily radio program, “The Writer’s Almanac.”
