On Wednesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. in the Campus Hall Performance Center, please join us for a vocal recital by Music Department faculty member Anthony Turner, accompanied by pianist Jean Anderson Collier of the New England and Boston conservatories. Turner’s performance will include material by Scarlatti, Handel, Montsalvatge, Duke, and one of our preeminent African-American composers of classical art song, Charles S. Brown. The program is free, and the public is invited.
