On Thursday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. in Union 201, please join us for the next installment in the Social Justice Dialogue Luncheon series. This week’s topic will be “Gun control: A deliberative dialogue.” Using the deliberative dialogue process made famous by the Kettering Foundation’s National Issues Forum, we want to invite the group to sympathetically and fairly summarize and review three of the leading options on gun rights and gun control. From there, we would weigh and explore each of these three options, noting both strengths and downsides, before moving toward some final reflections on how the discussion has contributed to everyone’s thinking about the issues. We would love to involve as many members of the Wagner community as possible. For more information on the Social Justice Dialogues series, visit our online Newsroom.
