Noah E. Lewis, attorney-at-law, will be speaking on the state of transgender rights in the United States in the 21st Century.
Lewis founded a New York City-based law practice working to ensure equal access to health care for transgender individuals through challenging denials of insurance coverage for transgender-related care. He has previously worked for the Transgender Law Center, the National LGBTQ Task Force, and served as the staff attorney at Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund for five years.
Noah is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and was the first openly transgender student to graduate from Harvard Law School. There he worked successfully to eliminate trans health exclusions in student and staff health plans.
