Premiere, ‘Camaraderie’
On Tuesday, June 4, 8 p.m., please join Barbara Wesby for a concert of chamber music by living composers, sponsored by the National Association of Composers USA, East Coast division. The concert will feature the premiere of Wesby’s revised string quartet, “Camaraderie,” performed by the prestigious Momenta String Quartet. The work was originally commissioned by the String Quartet of the Staten Island Chamber Music Players and received a 2007 grant from Staten Island Art. At Christ and St. Stephens Church, 120 W. 69th St., Manhattan. Admission free; donations accepted.
