Faculty Forum: Amy Eshleman on faculty blogs
On Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 4:20 p.m. in the Kairos House chapel, psychology professor Amy Eshleman will be speaking on “Using Faculty Blogs for Teaching and Research.” She will focus on the blog that she developed with the support of Anna Mulé, Wagner’s director of digital and social media, “Seeing White.” It organizes multidisciplinary demonstrations, activities, examples and images for use by researchers and instructors who seek to explain racism and reveal white privilege. The blog is keyed to chapters in the book, “Seeing White: An Introduction to White Privilege and Race,” co-authored by Eshleman, Jean Halley and Ramya Vijaya. The presentation will be followed by a wine and cheese reception in Kairos House.
