On Sunday, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. in Harbor View Hall’s Gatehouse Lounge, please join Completely Student Productions for a musical version of “The Full Monty,” with book by Wagner College Stanley Drama Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally, score by David Yazbek, directed by Brendan Stackhouse and Brian Falduto. Based on the 1997 British film of the same name, “The Full Monty” tells the story of six unemployed steelworkers from Buffalo who are low on cash and prospects. After seeing their wives’ enthusiasm for a touring company of male dancers, they turn to their only option left: stripping. One of them decides they will go “the full monty,” or strip all the way, and be the best they can be. As they prepare for their new career, the men overcome anxieties, fear, loss and self-consciousness to create one strong, unified group. For more information, email Brian Falduto.
