Gallery artist lecture: Chris Spollen
On Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 3 p.m. in the Wagner Gallery, off the Union Atrium, join artist Chris Spollen for a talk about his current exhibition, “Rocket Ships to Robots and other Various Machinations of the Imagination.” The show will be on display through Sunday, Feb. 22.
Washington Center internship info
This afternoon at 4:10 p.m. in Main Hall 22, attend an information session about the Washington Center's semester- or summer-long integrated academic and work experiences in government, corporate and nonprofit organizations in Washington, D.C. Each internship is tailored to provide meaningful work experiences that will enhance students’ resumes and help launch their careers. Additionally, students take academic courses and attend special programming during their time at the Washington Center. Also stop by the Washington Center's information table in the Union from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
CACE Dinner with Friends
From 6 to 8 p.m. in Union 201, join CACE Assistant Director Barbara Bellesi for the first "Dinner With Friends" of the semester. Bellesi will talk about resume building, internships and interview techniques -- and Matthew Kovalsky, a current student, will talk about his experiences as an intern on "The Jimmy Fallon Show." APO Info and Service Night
In Union 201. Space for interested students to meet and learn about APO. We will be showing a powerpoint, doing group icebreakers, and doing a service project to create sleeping mats for the homeless from only plastic bags!
PAA Meeting
First formal PAA meeting of the Spring 2015 Semester. We will be going over community service events we will be doing as well as academic requirements that must be met by the end of the semester.
