LGBTQ History Month Event: Safe Zone Training
Safe Zone is a program which helps faculty, staff, and students provide support and resources for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (GLBTQ) students, faculty, and staff.
A Safe Zone sign indicates that the person who posted it is a person who will be understanding, non-judgmental, and trustworthy. Individuals will know that they can come to this person for help, advice, or just talk with someone who is supportive of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
If you are interested in becoming Safe Zone trained, please make sure to attend.
