Gerald Benjamin: NYS Constitutional Convention?
Professor Gerald Benjamin from SUNY New Paltz, will deliver the Carey Institute Spring Lecture. Jerry is considered one of the leading experts in the country and certainly in New York, on State constitutions. He will be speaking about the referendum that will be on the NY State ballot in November for approval of the convening of a constitutional convention to consider amendments to the NY State constitution.
Anthony Turner Faculty Recital
Wagner College Department of Music presents faculty baritone Anthony Turner in recital.
The recital commences on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 7:30pm in the Campus Hall Performance Center.
Musical selections include classical compositions by Luigi Mancia, Claude Debussy and Arnold Schoenberg, with piano accompaniment provided by Ok Kyun Kang.
Mr. Turner will present pop ballads in the second half of his program by the composers Antonio Carlos Jobim, Michel Legrand, Miguel Prado and Idabelle Firestone. He will be joined at the piano by Staten Islander, Eleanor Sokoll, Bim Strasberg on bass, and Wagner faculty guitarist Benjamin Sher.
This event is free and open to Wagner faculty, staff and students, the greater Staten Island community and the greater New York City area.
