Wagner College Theatre wraps up its 2014-15 Main Stage season with one of the world’s most popular musicals, “Cats,” from April 22-25 and April 29 through May 3. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, with 2 p.m. weekend matinees on April 25, May 2 and May 3.

Featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber (“Evita,” “Jesus Christ Superstar”) and based on “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats,” a collection of poems by T.S. Eliot, “Cats” tells the story, in song and dance, of the annual gathering of Jellicle cats, when one special cat is selected to ascend to the Heaviside layer.

Wagner College Choir Final Concert: Carmina Burana

You are cordially invited to our final concert of the season, Carmina Burana.

This is a vibrant, exuberant, joyful piece that will feature three wonderful soloists, Anthony Turner, a world-class baritone, Adrienne Patino Dunn, a lovely soprano with an amazingly beautiful voice and Alan Dornak, a countertenor of international stature. Two wonderful pianists, Ok Kyun Kang and Barbara Lee, will perform at two grand pianos, with a battery of percussion, our fabulous College Choir and Young Voyces youth choir, and Beth Johanning, conductor.

Young Voyces will open the concert with a few selections, including the New York premiere of Dr. Wesby's, "Wake the Harp of Heaven" for Children's Choir, Mixed Chorus and two pianos.
