On Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. at Manhattan’s Don’t Tell Mama cabaret venue, please join the Wagner College Theatre and the Music Department for an all-star cabaret show to benefit music/theater professor Amy Beth Williams, who was disabled with two broken legs when a car struck her near her Brooklyn home last fall. Several members of the WCT family will be featured, including Quincy Marr, Fred Tessler, Kailey Winans, Lauri Young, Lisa Peterson, Danielle James, T.J. Lamando, Josh Sottile and Katharine Bragg. In order to celebrate October as Italian Heritage Month, the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures invites you to a retrospective on Italian and American movies that reflect on the encounter between two cultures - the Italian and the American - and the consequent struggle for self-awareness, identity, and belonging. Each movie will be introduced by Dr. Giuseppe Sorrentino and will be followed by a discussion.

The PAA will be holding 'puzzle challenges' - compete to finish your puzzle faster to win prizes! Pizza will be provided! Any donations towards Autism Awareness will be accepted.
On Tuesday, April 8 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Union Atrium, please join the Nursing Students Association for a fundraiser for the March of Dimes, a major nonprofit organization that supports healthy pregnancies and helps sustain the lives of babies facing severe health challenges. Food, drinks, great raffle prizes — and every dollar counts!
On Saturday, Oct. 19 at 8:30 p.m. in the Stage One studio theater, Wagner College Theatre majors are hosting a revue, “A Night at the Cinema,” to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The program features songs and scenes from over a dozen films, performed by Wagner actors and singers. Tickets are $7, and there will be raffle prizes and silent auctions.
Featuring songs and scenes from over a dozen films, “A Night at the Cinema” is spearheaded by senior performance major Lauren Wagner, who recently starred as Audrey in “Little Shop of Horrors,” with music direction by Matt Hosmer.

On Tuesday, Sept. 10 and Wednesday, Sept. 11 (both days, 12 to 6 p.m.) in Union 201, the Nursing Department will be holding a 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive in cooperation with the N.Y. Blood Center Bank. There is a tremendous need for blood, and organizers are hoping to get at least 100 pints of blood during the two-day drive. Students will also be registering volunteers for the Bone Marrow Registry — all it takes is a simple cheek swab to be added to the registry, and you could be called to save a life! At the end of the drive, all donors will be eligible to win a raffle prize: a $100 American Express gift certificate. For more information, email Nancy Cherofsky.
Wagner College’s Student Government Association will be sponsoring the Walk for Lupus, to raise funds for the Lupus Foundation of America, on Sunday, May 5 from 12 to 2 p.m. on the Sutter Oval.
