Holocaust Remembrance Day

On Thursday, April 24 at 12:30 p.m. in Foundation Hall’s Manzulli Boardroom, please join us for this year’s observance of Holocaust Remembrance Day, featuring keynote speaker Bronia Brandman, co-author of “The Girl Who Survived: A True Story of the Holocaust.” A free kosher buffet lunch will open the program. On Wednesday, April 30 at 5 p.m. in Campus Hall 201, please join the ACE program for a lecture by filmmaker Jorge Torres, “A Hard Day’s Work: Using Video for Social Justice.” Torres directs many programs at Port Richmond’s El Centro del Inmigrante that promote the empowerment of immigrants of varying documentation status.
