Forum for a Sustainable Future
Known as “The Greenest Borough” of New York City for its 170+ vast parks and expansive square miles of waterfront, Staten Island is poised to undergo transformative projects in the sustainability realm to enhance the quality of life and promote economic growth for our community and its nearly 10,000 businesses.
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, we are excited to host the second annual Wagner College & SIEDC Forum for a Sustainable Future on Friday, February 9, 2024. The event will kick off with a ticketed Keynote Breakfast Panel in the Union Dining Hall from 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. for private and public sector community members.
The Wagner community is then invited to join free, topical round table discussions in the Horrmann Library from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., along with interacting with tabling industry leaders. The full events schedule can be found here: siedc.org/sustainability2024.
Fundraiser for Ronald MacDonald House
The members of ADPi will be raising money for Ronald MacDonald House Charities by hosting a guessing game at the table. Students can guess how many candies are in a jar at a cost of $2. The closest guess by the end of the event will win all of the candy! The proceeds will be donated to Ronald MacDonald House which provides housing and meals to families that have a child in the hospital.

Flower Bouquet Making with APIA
APIA (Asian Pacific Islander Association) is meant to be a safe space for all those who wish to join! We have game nights, interesting discussions, and occasional guest speaker appearances! We love welcoming new members and creating a fun space for students to meet new people, talk openly, and de-stress! This week, we will be hosting flower bouquet making for Valentine's Day! We hope to see you there 🙂
