Black and Blue Lives Matter

October 18, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Wagner Union Faculty Dining Room

Whether its the police involved shootings in Cleveland, Charlotte or Tulsa, the attacks on police in Dallas and Baton Rouge, or the local death of Eric Garner, the relationship between Black and Brown communities and the police have captivated this nation for the last few years.

The Black and Latino Male Initiative is proud to bring this conversation to Wagner College. It is our hope that this event will push some of us to think beyond our comfort zones and to introduce our community men and women who work(ed) on daily basis proudly wearing NYPD Blue, while living unapologetically Black or Brown lives.

The panelists will include:
Wilford Pinkney, Detective First Grade (retired)
Dr. Darrin Porcher, Lieutenant (retired)
Wilson Cano, Detective (retired)
Samantha Foucell, Sergeant
John Reives, Sergeant

Please join us for this most important conversation. Dinner is provided, so please RSVP to Curtis Wright by Monday at 12pm.
