Exceeding the Expectation “Tell your story” event
ETE is hosting a series of event in October since it is National Disability Awareness Month. This event is going to be like an open mic night, but with storytelling. The theme of the event is, "How have you overcome adversity in your life?" People can "tell their story" about their disability, or something in their life that they feel like sharing. They can do this by reading a story they wrote, music, a poem, etc. At this event we will also be writing letters to our local political representatives about disability rights.
