RISE UP: Young Holocaust Heroes Performance

3rd Annual Youth Holocaust Remembrance for Yom Ha’Shoah

Created in conjunction with Wagner College’s Holocaust Center, “Rise Up” tells the stories of six Holocaust survivors as they recall their happier days before the war and life in ghettos and camps with songs and words drawn from actual testimony. Explore how youth resisted the Nazis from forging ration cards to smuggling guns into the Warsaw Ghetto and why it matters today.

Directed by Mickey Tennenbaum

Event will take place at the St. George Theatre located at 35 Hyatt Street, Staten Island, NY.
