The Wagner College Athletic Department is proud to roll out a fresh, new look with the introduction of a set of newly designed logos as well as a revamped athletics Web site.Wagner’s new athletics Web site was designed by Internet Consulting Services Inc., a Syracuse-based company that has spent the past 12 years providing clients with innovative technological solutions for their Web needs. Since its founding, ICS has pioneered technologies in Web design, content management systems, e-commerce solutions, and many other areas. ICS boasts a client list that includes more than 200 clients from around the country and in Canada.“We are so pleased Wagner College has chosen to partner with ICS to build and host the new www.wagnerathletics.com Web site," said ICS President and CEO Jeff Rubin. "Our goal with all clients is to develop the latest and greatest technology to add to the alumni, parent and fan experience. This new Web site helps demonstrates Wagner’s commitment to excellence in collegiate athletics and their ongoing desire to help promote their program and their student athletes. We appreciate the hard work of the Wagner staff for their efforts and cooperation throughout the development of the site.”The new logos were developed in an effort to build a stronger brand with a modernized, sleeker look, and to achieve greater consistency with its athletics logos. These new marks consist of primary identity, secondary mark, as well as wordmark logos. The new logos were designed by Joseph Keegan, the principal owner and creative director of Keegan Design, a design firm that specializes in branding identities.Wagner College worked in close conjunction with Keegan Design during the re-branding process. Before the development of his own firm, Keegan worked as a senior graphic designer in many influential branding and design agencies throughout the northeast. Keegan Design was founded in 2005 and specializes in the conception and development of brand communications for sports teams, corporations and special events."I enjoyed working with the staff at Wagner College on this project,” said Keegan. They were very influential in forging ahead with an innovative and unique mark.”“We are very excited about introducing our new website design and the timing matches perfectly with our new logos,” said Wagner Director of Athletics Walt Hameline. “In ICS and Keegan Design, we partnered with two extremely competent and professional organizations. I must also commend the many members of our athletic department, especially our sports information and marketing areas, who have worked so hard on making these projects a reality."We are equally enthusiastic to be unveiling our new and exciting logo designs,” added Hameline. “We feel these new marks are more eye-catching and recognizable and will serve to enhance our brand. I am confident that our student-athletes and all Seahawk fans across the land will be well-served by these new initiatives.”Read coverage on Wagner's new look in the Staten Island Advance.
