Steven Walker exhibition at the Old Print Shop thru May 16

Paintings and prints by Wagner College art professor Steven E. Walker will be on display at the Old Print Shop, 150 Lexington Ave. (between 29th & 30th Streets) through May 16. Shown at left is one of the paintings in the exhibition, "Bay Street, Wednesday Evening."
Steven Walker was born in New York City in 1955. He studied at Wagner College, Hunter College and the Art Students League. He teaches at Wagner College and works at the Art Students League. He is a member of the Society of American Graphic Artists, where he works as a council member.
Walker's work has been shown in a one-person exhibition at the Gallery of Graphic Arts on the Upper East Side. His work has been included in several group exhibitions, including such venues as the Museum of the City of New York, the Housatonic Museum of Art (Bridgeport, Conn.), the Black Church Studio (Dublin, Ireland), and the New York Transit Museum. His work is included in the permanent collections of the Brooklyn Museum, the Museum of the City of New York, the Housatonic Museum of Art, the New-York Historical Society and others.
