The Wagner College Gallery will host an exhibition by Steve Nutt from Tuesday, Jan. 25 through Saturday, Feb. 26. The exhibition, entitled “Steve Nutt: Other Media,” includes paintings, prints, textiles and photography. An artist’s reception will be held in the gallery on Saturday, Feb. 19 from 2 to 5 p.m. The exhibition is free, and the public is invited.
Steve Nutt, an adjunct art professor at Wagner College, is best known on Grymes Hill for his ceramics. He teaches two sessions of beginning ceramics classes in his Main Hall studio and offers periodic intensive courses to the community through the college’s External Programs office. Nutt is the founder of Friends of Fire, a group of local ceramic artists.

The Wagner College Gallery is located in the Union building on the campus of Wagner College, Howard Avenue & Campus Road, Grymes Hill, Staten Island. The gallery is open from Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended hours on Thursday until 7 p.m. The gallery is closed on Sunday and Monday.
