The new issue of Wagner Magazine, the Link for Alumni and Friends, is on the newsstands -- and online, too! Here's some of what you'll find in the Summer 2011 issue:
"The Perfect Closer" -- In the spring of 2009, Andrew Bailey ’06 and his father, Bill, took a cross-country road trip from their New Jersey home to Phoenix, Arizona. Little did they know it would lead Andrew to a major league bullpen and Rookie of the Year honors.
"Below the Surface" -- As the 10th anniversary of September 11 approaches, we go to the ‘deep places’ with a few members of the Wagner community. Hearing their personal stories, we feel the ‘percussive waves’ still emanating from the boulder of September 11.
"Just Right for Each Other" -- In recent years, Mike ’49 and Margaret Christie ’49 Nicolais have become a big part of Wagner’s success. In our story with a video featuring more photos and audio, these Wagner supporters return to the place where it all started. You can also view a special video accompaniment to the Nicolais story on our website.
"Year Four: The Big Leap" -- On the cusp of commencement, seniors tell us about their most memorable professors and classes; favorite places on campus and in New York City; immediate plans and dream jobs; challenges faced and lessons learned; and what they will miss the most when they leave Wagner. The final installment of our four-year series on the Wagner Plan for the Practical Liberal Arts.
ALL THIS, and more, is in the new issue of Wagner Magazine, the Link for Alumni and Friends. Read it now on our website.
