Mark Wagner Gives Presentation in Switzerland

On October 3, 2013, Dr. Wagner gave an invited address to delegates at the conference on the Geometry of the Visual Field which was held in  Fribourg, Switzerland. His presentation was titled Variations in the Affine structure of visual space: A geometry of visibles with a third dimension.

This conference is part of the ProDoc Research Module 10: “Experience of space and time” which is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. Its idea is to bring together philosophers with an interest in early modern theory of vision, particularly scholars working on Thomas Reid's Geometry of Visibles, with philosophers and psychologists who study the geometry of the visual field from a systematic or phenomenological perspective.
