Senior Week

As soon as finals end, we have one traditional week filled of 21+ Senior and Graduate student events, followed by graduation. Come celebrate a fun-filled week with memories to last a lifetime!

EVENT CALENDAR:

  •  Last Day of Finals Night @ Rudy and Dean's— Wednesday, May 15
    Event Description: The official 21+ Pre-Senior Week event. Join the Senior class at Rudy and Deans as we raise money for the Senior Class Gift. A live band will be performing. Let's celebrate the end of finals and the beginning of a great week. 21+ event. (Senior Gift Committee event)
    Per Person Cost: $6 cover at the door, proceeds to to the Senior Class Gift; great drink specials. 21+ event.

    Time: 10:15pm
  • Midtown Tour NYC – Thursday, May 16th
    Event Description: We're starting off with a bang at the Midtown Tour one last time together at McFadden's & Calico Jacks (2-4pm) -> Irish Exit (4-6pm) -> and Turtle Bay (6-8pm). 21+ event.
    Transportation:
    $10 to/from Wagner and the event. Pay in advance at the SGA office beginning May 9 to May 15 from 11am to 4pm.
    Per Person Cost:$2 beers, $3 mixed drinks, and half priced appetizers at all venues
    Time: 2-8pm
  • Wet and Wild at Wagner – Friday, May 17th
    Event Description: BBQ on the Foundation Hall Lawn, slip & slides, kiddie pools and other activities.
    Time: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    Per Person Cost: Free
  • Yankee Game – Saturday, May 18th
    Event Description: Enjoy a N.Y. Yankee game with the Senior class in our very own section!
    Transportation: Take the Ferry, then walk to Bowling Green to the “4” express train, which takes you right to Yankee Stadium.
    Per Person Cost: $30 for section 424 (between home plate and 3rd base); Pay in advance at the SGA office beginning May 9 to May 15 from 11am to 4pm.
  • Day at the Beach – Jenkinson's Point Pleasant, NJ – Sunday, May 19th
    Event Description: Sunday down at Pt. Pleasant Beach in New Jersey. Look for your friends on the beach between Martell's Tiki and the palm trees by the Jenkinson's Aquarium.
    Transportation: Optional round trip bus, OR drive on your own. Transportation will arrive at the top of the Oval on Howard Ave at 9:30 a.m., depart Wagner at 19am, and leave Point Pleasant at 6:00 p.m.
    Per Person Cost: Optional $10 round trip transportation; Pay in advance at the SGA office beginning May 9 to May 15 from 11am to 4pm.
    Time: 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
  • Spend the Night in Atlantic City, NJ – Monday, May 20th
    Event Description: Book a room at the Borgata and join the Senior class as we cheer the night away with all that AC has to offer. Steve Aoki will be performing at MurMur this night.
    Transportation: On your own.
    Per Person Cost: Book on your own through the Borgata (Alternative: Harrah’s or Tropicana); Rooms are about $130 for four people (about $52.50 per person if you have 4 in a room); MurMur Mondays @ the Borgata has a $39 tickets (buy them online in advance!), since world famous DJ Steve Aoki will be performing.
    Time: Check in at 3 p.m.
  • Last Hoorah at Burrito Bar! – Tuesday, May 21st
    Event Description: Join the Seniors for one last round at Burrito Bar. Drink specials will be available along with food and a guaranteed good time!
    Transportation: Shuttles to and from Wagner from 3 to 8 pm, every 15 minutes
    Per Person Cost: $5 cover at the door
    Time: 3-8 p.m.
  • Hudson River Dinner Cruise NYC - Wednesday, May 22nd
    Event Description: Enjoy dinner, DJ, dancing, and open bar while enjoying the beautiful NYC skyline from a gorgeous newly renovated private boat. Semi-Formal attire is required. 21+ event.
    Transportation
    : Bus to/from Chelsea Piers Per Person
    Cost: There are early bird specials, as follows...$125 from May 4 - May 13, and $150 From May 14 - May 21(cost listed above includes transportation to/from, open bar, and boarding pass); 2 max tickets per person (student and one guest, everyone must be 21+); Pay at the following link: https://www.alumniconnections.com/olc/pub/WAE/event/showEventForm.jsp?form_id=150498
    Time: Event begins at 6pm and ends at 10pm. Transportation leaves Wagner 5:15 p.m. and will return to Wagner at 11:00 p.m.

  • Baccalaureate – Thursday, May 23rd
    Baccalaureate service begins promptly at 4:00 p.m. under the tent on the Oval, with the Senior Toast immediately following. Students do not need to wear caps and gowns for this ceremony; but they should dress in business attire. Students should report to the Gymnasium of the Spiro Sports Center no later than 3:30 pm.
  • Senior Awards Dinner – Thursday, May 23rd
  • Graduation! – Friday, May 24th
    Commencement ceremonies will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.. Students line up at 9:15 a.m. in the Spiro Sports Center dressed in caps and gowns. (Don't forget to have your gown dry cleaned or steamed if it's wrinkled).
