SUSAN FENLEY (Co-Artistic Director) is a member of the Wagner College Theatre faculty and teaches acting, improvisation, and mime to theatre majors. She also has taught at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Paper Mill Theatre. A member of Actors Equity Association and Screen Actors Guild, Susan has been an actor, singer, and mime for over 20 years and has appeared on stage and in movies, commercials, and print. Susan has worked with companies that include L.A. Actors Theatre, LaMama, Twelfth Night Repertory Co. and Cherry Lane Theatre. She is also the executive/artistic director of Staten Island’s Sundog Theatre where she has produced or directed over 20 shows. As a teaching artist, Susan worked in NYC schools for several years before founding Sundog, which also places artists in schools to supplement curricula through the arts. Susan was a musical theatre major at U.S. International University’s School of Performing Arts in San Diego, California.
DAVID SISCO is a prolific art song composer, whose work has been performed across the country, including concerts produced by Friends & Enemies of New Music, The Greenwich School Music House and Lyricfest. David received a stipend from the National Endowment for the Advancement of Arts to present a recital of his music at the prestigious Liederkranz Club in New York. Other shows include Variations on a Theme of You, Sopranos (featured at the 2002 NYC International Fringe Festival), a one-act opera called The Catbird Seat, and BAIT, a play also featured at 2006 Columbus Theatre Festival, winning six awards, including Best Comedy. As a singer, David is much sought after. The Boston Herald praised his performance of the AIDS Quilt Song Book, saying he sang with “heart-breaking sincerity.” Mr. Sisco has served on the faculties of Northeastern and Suffolk University, and is currently an Adjunct Professor of Voice at Marymount Manhattan College. David received his BA in vocal performance and composition honors from Syracuse University, and a MM in vocal performance at Boston University School for the Arts.
